Dr Mitesh Ladwa

Managing Director

I am the Managing Director of Bid Management Solutions Limited, a company I founded in 2013 to provide interim writing services to organisations seeking to bid on tender opportunities and secure new commercial contracts. I was first introduced to bid writing in 2005 working with a Management Consultancy to support Large Organisations, SMEs and universities across Europe to accessing funding for research and development projects. I gained significant experience in setting up collaborative partnerships and developing proposals with applications made to the European Commission, Medical Research Council and Innovate UK.

In 2013, I transitioned my writing skills to the NHS initially finding success on a bid to establish a Pathology Joint Venture in Central London with a new company Health Services Laboratories. I have equally found success in bidding for Urgent Treatment Centres, GP Out of Hours, GP APMS tenders, Integrated Sexual Health, Community Services, Homeless Services, Podiatry, Mental Health, Special Allocation Services, Digital Health, and many more. Our expertise in the health sector is unparalleled.

We have also worked on non-healthcare initiatives such as establishing Degree Apprenticeship Programmes, Tier 2 Visa applications, Transport, Housing, Catering, Cleaning, and Engineering projects.

Mark Cockerton

Consultant Bid Writer

With over 40 years of experience in the NHS and not-for-profit urgent care sector, I have been privileged to establish several new organisations, including Community Benefit Societies, and support them in securing healthcare contracts.

My career spans key leadership roles, including serving as Chief Executive of three urgent care providers in Croydon, Hertfordshire, and City & Hackney, alongside a wide range of interim positions such as Director of Finance, Director of Operations, Director of Service Delivery, Strategic Advisor, Director of Transformation, and General Manager.

I specialise in writing tenders for integrated urgent care and other NHS services, leveraging my extensive experience to craft competitive bids. I have contributed to a large number of successful tenders across the UK, from North Tees to Essex, Lancashire to Buckinghamshire, and Merseyside to London, finally supporting the mobilisation of these new services post-award.

Having worked with more than 25 GP Out-of-Hours Providers since 1998 and serving in a national advisory role to the Department of Health’s Urgent Care Team, I bring a unique and comprehensive understanding of the urgent care sector. I am passionate about supporting organisations that prioritise patient care over profit and am eager to collaborate with those who share this ethos.

Dr Omar Hashmi

An established GP with experience in governance leadership and transformation Senior Responsible Officer capacities, I offer over 15 years’ experience inclusive of NHS Healthcare clinical leadership and executive board roles and senior responsibilities spanning general practice, out-of-hours and urgent care, online consultation, governance, and education.

With a passion for helping people and alleviating suffering, I thrive in a visionary environment in which I can deliver tangible improvements from leading work in complex and challenging circumstances. I enjoy coaching and training the next generation. Collaborative and proactive, I’m happy to get stuck into difficult jobs whilst working towards a better future.
